Women in Breakbulk

Project cargo is a male dominated world. Breakbulk is working hard to change that.

We’ve once again teamed up with our official women empowerment partners WISTA Arabia, alongside new allies Arab Women in Maritime Association (AWIMA) for the Women in Breakbulk Session.

Gathering together women from different sectors, we’ll be inviting them to share their experiences and insights on building succesful careers within a predominantly male space.

Key female leadership figures will offer deep insights into how they’ve reached the top in their field. Advice for women from all corners of the industry will be shared, helping spur on progress in an industry already making the right moves.

Women in Breakbulk takes place on Wednesday 26 February. Click here to book your place or to learn more.

Education Day

A brand-new feature for Breakbulk Middle East.

Newly employed in the breakbulk or project cargo workforce? Fresh faces, be they shippers, carriers, forwarders, or other industry newcomers, are encouraged to come to the Education Day.

After all, education is essential for all career changers and students. Crucially, there exists an industry talent gap that needs plugging with the best and brightest.

If you fit the profile, come to the Education Day to get to grips with industry fundamentals, and learn from working executives. Participants will also learn what it takes to organise and execute large-scale projects, plus get advice from new industry entrants.

What’s more. Education Day attendees will also get to tour the exhibition floor and meet face-to-face with project cargo’s leading lights operating within the global supply chain.

Get more info on the Education Day and see the full agenda here.

With the largest ever LNG project currently underway in Mozambique, our panel of experts will explore the oil and gas projects in east Africa, as well as what’s next for the region and where to expect further opportunities to open up.
